Monthly distribution of sanitary pads to the daughters/women from impoverished backgrounds in the village

Sajjan Lal Memorial Society offers monthly free sanitary pad distribution to underprivileged girls from poor and marginalized families in remote and challenging villages of Pithoragarh district. Many girls in these villages do not use sanitary pads, which leads to various health problems. To address this, the society's dedicated female volunteers visit villages regularly, providing essential education to selected underprivileged girls and women about the significance of using sanitary pads for better health. Presently, the Sajjan Lal Memorial Society is distributing 100 free sanitary pads every month

Our Vison

"The society is currently providing free sanitary pads to approximately 100 underprivileged girls/women in the village every month. The goal of the society is to extend this benefit to around 1000.00 (one thousand) needy girls/women monthly. To achieve this, the society requires substantial financial support."

Our Mission

The society is distributing free sanitary pads every month to underprivileged girls/women in the village to promote good hygiene practices. It is known that only about 15 percent of girls/women in India use sanitary pads. The society aims to raise awareness among needy girls/women in the village and is currently providing 100 free pads. In the future, the society aims to provide free sanitary pads to more underprivileged girls/women from poor families.

Note

The society provides free sanitary pad distribution in various villages of Uttarakhand's border district, Pithoragarh, including Bungachina, Tayal, Bamdoli, Chaukha, Udayi, Thalgaon, Bisun, Lohakot, Chaupata, Devalthal, Usail, Pathrouli, Aagar, Josheegao, Harali, Nagroda, Myoli, Bhateura, Nakhnoli, Kalapani, Sill, Chamu, Khuleti, Khatyuda, Aganya, Oligao, and Oligao, among others.

Due to limited financial support, the society is unable to provide free sanitary pads to more than 100 girls/women. For this noble cause, your assistance is needed. Kindly extend your help if possible.
